Children

Imagine a place where kids experience the love of God and learn how to respond to His love through looking at the bible in creative and adventurous ways, using games, music, dramas, and many other fun and relevant activities. Imagine a place where kids are safe to be who they are and ask questions that are on their hearts and minds; where children are encouraged and shown how to enter a personal and dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ and where they’re equipped to grow in that relationship. This is who we are and how we, God’s people at Balgowlah Anglican Church, set out to grow disciples of Jesus Christ as He has called us to do.

Our play group welcomes parents and carers of little ones to play, laugh, read and sing; to enjoy the experience of children at play and make some new friends in this beautiful and small playgroup

KIDS CHURCH LOGO

is our Sunday morning children’s ministry. Children are a valued part of our church and so begin each Sunday morning with their families in Church, a little before the sermon the children head to the hall and rooms next door for their age specific programs. Each section of Kids Church follows a bible based program and is run by trained and suitably qualified leaders who care for them dearly.

We have two different aged programs…

Small Saints is for our youngest children from creche to preschool. Here children learn of Gods love and Jesus friendship through play, stories, music, simple games and crafts.

Kids Church is our school aged program. Here we worship, pray, play, create and discuss Gods word, his love and how to live for him and with him. This term our focus is on our True Identity as Christians based on Colossians 3:12-17.

All Saints Balgowlah started St James Kindergarten as a ministry of the church and still plays a significant role in the workings of this Kindergarten. Our Children’s Minister Camille is a regular guest at St James and is often invited to teach one of the Bible lessons in the morning. Each year we have a specific Sunday morning service where the St James families are invited and the children share with us what they have been learning from the Bible.  Click here for St James Kindergarten web site

Kids Day Camp is our Annual Holiday program in the second week of the July school holidays. This year’s under water adventure was fantastic. Click here to Watch the video
